Facilitator Bio
Dr Victoria Perchyonok is an Oral Health Therapist (Adult Scope), Clinical Lecturer and Course Convenor in Dental Materials at the University of Melbourne. She is passionate about preventative, patient-centred care and improving access to oral health services for vulnerable populations, particularly in aged care settings.
Victoria co-leads the Smart Smiles Initiative – Healthy Smiles, Healthy Futures alongside dental prosthetist Rachael Starr. Their work focuses on integrating oral health into multidisciplinary care, delivering education for healthcare staff, and providing minimally invasive, evidence-based care for individuals living with neurodegenerative conditions.
Her clinical and academic work centres on bridging research and practice, with a strong focus on oral health in ageing, dysphagia, and the impact of systemic conditions on oral wellbeing.
