Dr Sherene Alexander, BDS, MDS, FRACDS
Staff Specialist and Senior Clinical Lecturer, Dept. Paediatric Dentistry, Westmead Centre for Oral Health.
Sherene has accomplished her advanced training in Pediatric dentistry at TUFTS University , Boston, USA., following her Masters course in India. She spent a short while at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne followed by a position as the Regional Dental Officer for DHSV, Gippsland in Victoria for two years.
Having worked as a Senior Registrar in the department of Pediatric Dentistry at Westmead dental hospital, she completed her Fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She is currently employed as a Staff Specialist at Westmead Centre for Oral Health and as a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Dentistry, at the University of Sydney. Her interests lie in trauma and its management, oral medicine and pathologies in children. She is an executive member of the Australian Society for Special Care in Dentistry and has several publications to her credit.
Outside dentistry, Shereen is passionate about woodworking and travel.
